and layering of European concepts, Japanese and
Ayurvedic philosophies combined with contemporary treatment skills has

Each
signature treatment begins with a welcome ritual inspired by the
Japanese art
of the Tea Ceremony, to soothe the spirit and stimulate the taste buds,
and a
fresh Ginger Foot Buff to promote energy balance and grounding.
Keihatsu Enlightenment Massage
The ancient traditional massage techniques of Nihon Kaifuku Anma originated approximately 3,000 years ago in Eastern Asia and form the foundation from which Shiatsu has developed. Techniques, including specialised pressure, kneading and percussion methods traditionally performed without oil, aim to improve muscle condition while simultaneously helping to promote the healthy flow of Qi or vital life force energy.
Beginning with a cleansing foot buff using sea kelp and ginger, the Keihatsu Enlightenment massage incorporates deep kneading, rolling and stretching movements using palm and forearm techniques inspired by Nihon Kaifuku Anma and combines them with a blend of scientifically advanced essential oils to restore vitality and vigor to mind and body.

Lighten And Brighten - Face And Back Treatment
Specifically prescribed to personally suit the skin’s needs, this facial and back treatment will improve skin texture and tone and address areas of tension.
The back is deep cleansed by body brushing and exfoliation to help stimulate circulation and cell renewal, and tension is released with a luxurious aromatherapy massage. While a smoothing and brightening mask takes effect on the back, the lower legs and feet receive a deeply relaxing massage.

sea salt and essential oil body scrubs stimulate circulation and renews

Kapha Stimulator
In a state of Kapha, the skin may be dull or oily; there is a tendency to puffiness and weight gain and negative reaction to humidity and dampness. Balance is retrieved through purification and stimulation to energise the mind and body. Detoxifying body oils are blended with Ashwaganda herbal concentrate and marine algae to clarify the skin, stimulate the circulation and warm the body.

Vata Comforter
Dry skin, anxiety, hyper-activity and coldness are present when Vata is out of balance. Vata personality seeks warmth, nourishment, hydration, comfort and healing. Purva Karma Four Hand Synchronised Massage
Paradise is achieved with an advanced combination of multiple stretching and rolling movements and long, deep sweeping techniques using body oils enriched with Ayurvedic herbal concentrates of Bhringaraj, Ashwaganda or Brahmi. Polarity balancing and rocking movements ground and de-stress, and the mind switches off as two therapists work in synchronised harmony. This treatment delivers the ultimate in tension-release and nurture to achieve mental and spiritual bliss.

Chakra Balancing With Volcanic Stones
Chakra balancing is an intensive total body experience. Skin brushing, exfoliation and a cleansing ESPA facial begin the treatment. Specific placement of hot volcanic stones on energy centres and at vital energy points achieves new balance and grounding. A total body massage, with blended aromatherapy oils and Ayurvedic herbal concentrates, is combined with the heat and pressure from the stones to result in rebalancing and re-energising. This cherishing body treatment has been carefully designed for pregnant and nursing mothers to aid relaxation and improve tonicity of the skin during this very special time. The treatment uses a natural Calendula infused oil, mud, creams and advanced massage techniques. Indulgent, relaxing and nurturing.

Anti-Cellulite Hip And Thigh Treatment
A specialised treatment to stimulate the circulation and lymphatic systems, concentrating on the hip and thigh areas which are prone to cellulite, fluid retention and uneven skin texture. After exfoliation there follows a vigorous detoxifying massage and an application of warm marine algae. Reflex pressure points on the feet are activated and a gentle lymphatic drainage massage is given to the eye area helping to reduce puffiness and dark circles.
