Following a Suzhou garden theme to reiterate the hotel's proximity to the Imperial Gardens, Hei Fung Terrace offers a tranquil setting including a Chef's Table and three private dining rooms.
For your own pantry, or as a flavorful Asian souvenir for food-loving friends, Hei Fung Terrace introduces two new take-away items from its kitchen. Candied Walnuts - soaked in honey, coated in sesame seeds and deep-fried to a golden brown color - can be enjoyed as an energizing snack while on the go, or tossed in salads and stir-fries for extra flavor and texture. Second, Chef Tang's versatile XO Sauce - based on the very recipe from The Peninsula Hong Kong - will add punch and zest to just about any dish on your summer table.
Both items may be purchased at Hei Fung Terrace, as well as The Peninsula Boutique & Café located on basement level one of the hotel. Hei Fung Terrace Candied Walnuts is priced at ¥980 and Hei Fung Terrace Original XO Sauce is priced at ¥5,880.
