The Peninsula Blossoms

March 08, 2014

Cherry blossom season is the most enchanting time in Japan, drawing millions of visitors each year and is the subject of many artists, photographers, film makers, poets and more. In 2013, The Peninsula Tokyo invited guests to experience cherry blossom season like never before with stunning decorations and themed promotions.

From 8th - 15th March, The Peninsula Tokyo brought the outside in with magnificent sakura arrangements throughout The Lobby including seven standing arrangements, each more than 2.5 metres tall, 64 cherry blossom table arrangements and 10 custom-made Japanese lanterns, all placed in The Lobby beneath the hotel’s iconic Hanabi chandelier by Japanese artist Keisen Hama.

Guests were also invited to taste the season with special cherry blossom-themed promotions at Peter, Peter: The Bar, The Lobby and The Peninsula Boutique & Café.
